The British Horse Society is pleased to announce the appointment of its’ new Chief Executive Officer.
James Hick will join the Society on Monday 2nd December 2019.
Mr Hick has been a member of The British Horse Society for over 10 years and in his spare time he breeds and shows Shire horses.
Mr Hick is currently employed as Managing Director for ManpowerGroup Enterprise UK and Ireland and has been with the ManpowerGroup since 1993.
Tim Lord, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Society, said “I am delighted that James will be joining us as our CEO in December. His appointment comes at a time of significant opportunity for our Charity in meeting the evolving needs of members, volunteers, supporters and every horse – which is at the heart of everything we do. James has a wealth of experience in successfully leading a multi-faceted organisation to improved performance and his obvious passion for horses and the equestrian community is a welcome bonus”
