Well 2017 has started with lots of training to help Gari and I move to the next level in dressage which is Advanced Medium.

I hope that with the help of horsescotland inspirational trainer Erik MacKechnie and top Scottish Dressage Rider, Jo Barry and the trainers at the BYRDS High Performance Camps we can realise our dream of being invited before the BYRDS GB Junior selectors in September 2017.

I know that I have plenty to do before we are ready for this but I know that hard work, dedication and some fun along the way are all necessary.

I want to thank my school, The Gordon School in Huntly for their unending support, Dengie and horsescotland for all the help and sponsorship I receive through them.

I also know that 2017 won’t happen without mum and dad who support me in too many ways to list, they are just amazing!

Next for us is another weekend down at Solihull Equestrian Centre with the last of the BYRDS High Performance Camps and then it’s straight into the British Dressage Winter Regionals at Morris Equestrian Centre at the end of February.

We might come up for air in March!

In the meantime look who I met at the British Dressage Convention in November!  I was a bit star struck!
